Do Not Sell My Personal Information

Effective Date: March 24, 2025

Your Right Under the CCPA and CPRA

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA"), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CPRA"), California residents have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of their personal information. This page explains how you may exercise that right with respect to personal information collected by EML Training Corp ("we," "us," or "our"). For full details on the personal information we collect and how we use it, please review our Privacy Policy.

What "Sale" and "Sharing" Mean

Under the CCPA/CPRA, "sale" means selling, renting, releasing, disclosing, disseminating, making available, or otherwise communicating a consumer's personal information to a third party for monetary or other valuable consideration. "Sharing" covers the disclosure of personal information to a third party for cross-context behavioral advertising, whether or not for monetary consideration. Your right to opt out applies to both.

Categories of Personal Information We May Sell or Share

Subject to your choices, the categories of personal information we may sell or share include:

  • Identifiers — such as name, email address, postal address, phone number, and online identifiers.
  • Internet or other network activity — including browsing history, search history, and information regarding your interaction with our websites, applications, and advertisements.
  • Commercial information — including records of products or services purchased, obtained, or considered.
  • Inferences — drawn from the above to create a profile reflecting preferences, characteristics, or behavior.

How to Submit an Opt-Out Request

You may submit a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information using either of the methods below. You do not need an account with us to submit a request.

Email

Send your request to privacy@emltraining.com with the subject line "CCPA Opt-Out Request." Please include the email address associated with your account (if any) so that we can locate and process your request.

Authorized Agent

You may designate an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on your behalf. We may require the agent to provide written authorization signed by you and may ask you to verify your own identity directly with us before processing the request.

Verification Process

To protect your privacy, we may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before fulfilling an opt-out request. Verification may include matching the information you provide against information we already have on file, such as the email address associated with your account. We will not use any personal information collected during verification for any purpose other than verification.

Response Timeline

We will confirm receipt of your request within ten (10) business days and will respond to your request within forty-five (45) calendar days of receipt. If we require additional time, we will notify you in writing and may extend the response period by up to an additional forty-five (45) days, as permitted by law.

Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your right to opt out. We will not deny you goods or services, charge you different prices or rates, provide you a different level or quality of goods or services, or suggest that you may receive a different price, rate, or level of service because you exercised your rights under the CCPA/CPRA.
